The Northeast Environmental Partners Thursday announced the winners of their 2016 Environmental Awards to be presented at a special awards dinner on October 20 at the Woodlands Inn and Resort in Wilkes-Barre.

The Nature Inn at Bald Eagle in Centre County voting USA Today’s 10Best Eco-Friendly Resort voting, beating out entries from Tennessee, Georgia, California, New York, Las Vegas and North Carolina.
The Governor’s Office is now accepting applications from youth 14 to 18 for the Governor’s Youth Council for Hunting, Fishing and Conservation. The deadline for applications is September 15.
