The Susquehanna River Basin Commission will holds its quarterly business meeting June 16 starting at 9:00 a.m., DoubleTree by Hilton Resort Lancaster, Terrace Room, 2400 Willow Street Pike, Lancaster.
The meeting is open to the public.
The Commissioners will act on several agenda items, including 22 project applications; regulatory compliance matter with New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc.; consideration to change the name of the Compliance Reserve Fund and amend said policy; adoption of a proposed guidance for terminating review of a project application and a proposed guidance for expiring project approvals; approval of contracts and agreements which SRBC proposes to enter; preliminary fiscal year 2018 budget; regulatory program fee schedule for fiscal year 2017; adoption of the Water Resources Program; amendment of the Comprehensive Plan for the Water Resources of the Susquehanna River Basin; and election of new officers.
SRBC will also host an informational presentation of interest to the water resources of the Lower Susquehanna subbasin.
Opportunities for public comment on project applications, fee schedule, guidances and the Comprehensive Plan were previously provided and will not be accepted at the meeting. However, the Commissioners may accept general public comments at the conclusion of the meeting.
SRBC’s Rules of Conduct for quarterly business meetings include:
-- Attendees must sign-in and show photo identification.
-- Signage, posters, banners or other display media will be permitted only in designated areas.
-- The press will be permitted to set up and use video and recording devices in a designated area. -- The public will be permitted to use small, hand-held devices that remain in their possession and are used in a non-disruptive manner.
