Mt. Airy Learning Tree will host its annual Hidden Gardens Tour on June 4 to showcase gardens in Northwest Philadelphia.
Spend a spring day exploring tiny and large yards, in sun and shade, some with ponds and garden ornaments, and a backdrop of lovely homes built with local stone.
Mt. Airy Learning Tree is a community service organization founded in 1980 to enrich Mt. Airy and the broader Northwest Philadelphia Community.
MALT celebrates the diversity of Northwest Philadelphia, bringing together neighbors to share a wide variety of ideas, information and skills in informal learning environments.
Registrants can begin their morning adventure by picking up a brochure and map identifying the garden destinations at the MALT office, 6601 Greene St., Philadelphia from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Gardens will remain open until 3 pm.
Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Tickets are available online or call 215-843-6333.
