Applications currently are being accepted for summer internships at the Grey Towers National Historic Site, Milford, Pike County for college students or recent grads who are seeking a practical, hands-on experience assisting the U.S. Forest Service horticulturist in the landscape maintenance and historic preservation of the estate.
The deadline to apply is April 29.
Students studying or majoring in horticulture, landscape architecture, forestry and other environmental science fields are encouraged to apply. The experience will challenge and broaden their knowledge of practical applications of horticultural theory learned in the classroom.
The summer internships run for 12 weeks from May through August and include a stipend, housing and uniforms.
