Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Tuesday announced Sunbury-based Weis Markets, Inc., has continued their support for the 2016 Great American Cleanup of PA and will donate refreshments for registered participants of the Great American Cleanup of PA in select areas across the state.
“Weis Markets is pleased to partner with Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful,” said Patti Olenick, Sustainability Manager. “It is part of our corporate commitment to sustainability, being good stewards of the environment and giving back to the communities we serve. We’ve been serving Pennsylvania communities for more than 100 years and we are excited to be part of the Great American Cleanup of PA.”
“We value the partnership with Weis Markets, Inc. Their donation of gift cards provides a fun and valuable incentive to participate in the Great American Cleanup,” states Shannon Reiter, President of Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful. “Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful and Weis Markets share the goal of promoting a sustainable environment and livable communities. The Great American Cleanup empowers citizens to do that locally.”
