The High Allegheny Plateau Hemlock Partnership and the Friends of Allegheny Wilderness are holding a Hemlock Woolly Adelgid volunteer monitoring training on November 24 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Kane Fire Hall in Kane, McKean. The address is 50 Poplar Street, Kane, PA 16735.
This event is free of charge, and refreshments will be provided. Registration is not necessary, but if you’d like to attend it would be great if you could please send Sarah Johnson of The Nature Conservancy-PA an email at: sejohnson@tnc.org to let her know, so that we will have an approximate head count.
