The Fish and Boat Commission Tuesday announced it will host a public meeting on November 18, in Austin, Potter County to discuss future regulatory changes for the upper Kettle Creek Watershed in Potter and Tioga counties.
The meeting will be held from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at The Wildlife Center at Sinnemahoning State Park, located at 4843 Park Road, Austin, PA 16720.
The meeting will discuss future angling regulations for the upper Kettle Creek basin, which was formerly included in the Wild Brook Trout Enhancement Regulation Program. The new regulation being considered is Catch and Release All-Tackle, which is similar in nature to the former Wild Brook Trout Enhancement regulations.
The upper Kettle Creek basin is approximately 28.3 miles long and stretches from the headwaters downstream to the confluence with Long Run. It includes Long Run and all tributaries upstream to the headwaters.
The public is invited to attend.
