Volunteers in six states making up the Ohio River Watershed will be cleaning up trash during the 23rd annual Ohio River Sweep on June 15.
The Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission and environmental and natural resource agencies in Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia coordinate over 20,000 volunteers in the cleanup.
In Pennsylvania, volunteers are needed for cleanup sites in Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Washington and Westmoreland counties.
