DEP Set To Do Over 40 Percent More Marcellus Shale Inspections This Year
Acting Department of Environmental Secretary Michael Krancer told the House Appropriations Committee his agency is set to do over 7,200 inspections of Marcellus Shale natural gas wells this year, a 44 percent increase over last year.
Krancer also said the first meeting of the Governor's Marcellus Shale Advisory Commission will be March 25 and the meetings will be open to the public. The meeting will be held in Room 105 Rachel Carson Building starting at 10:30. (formal notice) Click Here to read more...
