PPL intends to construct a new 69/12 kilovolt (Kv) substation and rebuild portions of the adjacent 69 kV transmission line by installing five new foundations and four direct embed steel monopole structures on the existing transmission line and new tap line to the substation.
The existing transmission line parallels the railroad tracks between South Middlesex Road and Old Stonehouse Road.
The proposed transmission line work will include temporary construction access from township roadways and temporary work pads and pulling pads for pole work.
The substation construction will require one new permanent driveway from South Middlesex Road.
The project will impact LeTort Spring Run (High Quality).
No hearing has been scheduled, but one may be requested.
Comments are due October 19-- 30 days from this notice.

The Governor’s executive order requires data center developers to obtain all permits and local approvals before DEP can review any permits for the facility.
