The permit covers multiple encroachments and waterways impacts in the approximately 520 acre data center campus project, including multiple areas of fill, water, sewer and fiber optic line crossings and natural gas pipeline crossings.
DEP said the project proposes to permanently impact 9,162 linear feet of watercourse, 901,101 square feet (20.69 acres) of floodway, and 4,942 square feet (0.11 acre) of wetlands.
The project site is located in the northern and eastern portions of the Shippingport Industrial Park off of Church Lane near its intersection with Shippingport Road, Midland, PA
No hearing has been scheduled on this permit, but one may be requested.
Comments are due by August 31-- 30 days from this notice.
