The proposed project will impact Fourth Run (High Quality), Shingle Mill Run (High Quality) and Black Creek (High Quality).
Representatives from DEP’s Waterways & Wetlands Program, the Carbon County Conservation District and Mora Solar will be in attendance at the hearing.
The hearing will be held at the Jim Thorpe High School, 1 Olympian Way, Jim Thorpe from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Individuals wishing to testify at the hearing submit a written notice of intent to Patrica Monahan, Community Relations Coordinator at pamonahan@pa.gov.
All comments, whether delivered orally during the hearing or submitted in writing will carry equal weight and consideration with DEP.
DEP will accept written comments until 15 days after the hearing-- July 8.
The NPDES permit application documentation and conceptual plans are available for review at the Carbon County Conservation District Office, 5664 Interchange Road, Lehighton, PA 18235 at (610) 377-4894 and/or the DEP Northeast Regional Office, 2 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre, PA, (570) 826-2511.
