DEP Citizens Advisory Council Meets Sept. 9 For Updates On Conservation Districts; Delaware River Basin Commission; Cuffs Run Pump-Storage Hydro Project

The DEP Citizens Advisory Council is scheduled to meet on September 9 to hear updates from county conservation districts, the Delaware River Basin Commission and the proposed Cuffs Run Pump-Storage Hydroelectric Project.

In addition, DEP Secretary Jessica Shirley is scheduled to present an update on DEP activities.

The agenda includes--

-- Elizabeth Koniers Brown, Director of Communications for the Delaware River Basin Commission will provide Environmental Updates and Initiatives of the Commission;

-- Amy Brown, Acting Executive Director of the PA Association of Conservation Districts will present an overview of initiatives at PACD; and

-- William McMahon, York Energy Storage, makes a presentation on the proposed Cuffs Run Pump-Storage Hydro Project in York County
