This event will celebrate the Land Trust’s ongoing commitment to conserving Northeastern Pennsylvania and recognize the contributions of the Tambur Family Foundation.
The 2025 Annual Dinner and Auction is chaired by Carole Poggi and Ali Zurawski.
This year, the Tambur Family Foundation will be honored with the North Branch Land Trust Community Stewardship Award.
The Foundation, along with its founders Robert and Virginia Tambur, has been an unwavering partner to the Land Trust, with more than fourteen years of support for the Land Trust’s mission and conservation goals.
Their dedication to the conservation and the community of Northeastern Pennsylvania has helped strengthen the foundation for future environmental stewardship in the region.
Founded in 1993, North Branch Land Trust is a nonprofit, community-driven organization dedicated to conserving the lands, waters, and natural resources of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Through private conservation easements, public partnerships with organizations such as the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, and ownership of more than 600 acres of publicly accessible preserves and sanctuaries, North Branch Land Trust is an active champion for the conservation of our region’s natural resources.
The Annual Dinner and Auction, the Land Trust’s largest fundraising event, plays a crucial role in supporting ongoing conservation efforts in 2025 and beyond.
The event will feature an exciting live auction, a chance to connect with other supporters of conservation, and an opportunity to learn about North Branch Land Trust’s programs for 2025.
Proceeds from the evening will directly support North Branch Land Trust’s conservation mission throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.
North Branch Land Trust invites everyone - community members, conservation advocates, and business leaders alike to attend this special evening of celebration and philanthropy.
By supporting the event, attendees are supporting the future of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s environmental legacy.
Ellen Ferretti, Executive Director, North Branch Land Trust said “We are thrilled to honor the Tambur Family Foundation and Robert and Virginia Tambur for their longstanding commitment to conservation and their positive impact on our community. Their support has been instrumental in enabling us to continue our mission of conserving the natural beauty of Northeastern Pennsylvania for generations to come.”
