PA Organization For Watersheds & Rivers Hosts Jan. 16 Webinar On Winter Salting and Local Waterway Impacts: Opportunities To Work For Change

Join the
PA Organization for Watersheds and Rivers and the volunteer leaders of the Little Lehigh Watershed Stewards for a Conversation CafĂ© webinar on January 16 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

This event will include an interactive discussion about the impacts of winter salting on local waterways and experiences watershed groups in Pennsylvania have had monitoring, communicating their results, and advocating for change locally and regionally.

Little Lehigh Watershed Steward volunteers will present their water quality testing results & their initial steps toward identifying target audiences, crafting effective messaging, and sharing potential solutions.

They are seeking to learn from the experiences of other watershed groups who are also working on this issue or who are interested in doing so.

By bringing like minded people and groups together, we hope to develop an approach to continuing to learn from each other, sharing useful resources, coordinating and advancing advocacy efforts, and sharing successes, big and small.

If you are concerned about the impacts of salt on local waterways, human health, and community infrastructure and you are willing to take ACTION- you won't want to miss this Conversation Cafe!

This event is free, but registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link.
