Adult Mentors Needed! Wildlife Leadership Academy Summer Student Field Programs

The
Wildlife Leadership Academy still has openings for adult mentors for their hands-on student residential summer field schools.

Adult mentors learn alongside Academy students, volunteering to serve as the primary mentors for the participating youth (ages 14-17) throughout the 5-day residential summer field schools.

Positions are available at each of the schools, which will focus on white-tailed deer, bass, brook trout, turkey, and bear.

Each field school accommodates four adult mentors, each of whom is part of a team consisting of five youth and one youth mentor-- a student who has participated in the program in a prior year.

Materials, food, and housing for the week are fully provided for all adult mentors for the week of field school.

All field schools will be held at Krislund Camp & Conference Center in Madisonburg, Centre County-- Bucktails: June 17-22; Bass: June 24-29; Brookies: July 8-13; Gobblers: July 15-20; Ursids: July 22-27.

As an adult mentor, educators are eligible to receive 40 Act 48 credit hours and/or 3 graduate level college credits through Cedar Crest College (tuition cost applicable).

If this sounds like an exciting opportunity to you, we encourage you to apply for a position at our field schools! Click Here to apply.
