PA Oil & Gas Industrial Facilities: Permit Notices/Opportunities To Comment - May 20

The following DEP notices were published in the
May 20 PA Bulletin related to oil and gas industry facilities.  Many of the notices offer the opportunity for public comments.

Land Recycling/Brownfield Cleanups

-- EQT Corp. - Brova Well Pad: DEP received a Notice of Intent to Remediate soil and groundwater impacted by production wastewater in North Bethlehem Twp., Washington County.  (PA Bulletin, page 2771)

-- EQT ARO LLC - Elbow Fish & Game Club Pad A: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with triethylene glycol for the facility located in Cogan House Twp., Lycoming County.  (PA Bulletin, page 2793)

-- Chesapeake Appalachia LLC - State Game Lands-12 M North Unit Pad B: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater for the facility located in Leroy Twp., Bradford County. (PA Bulletin, page 2793)

-- Repsol Oil & Gas USA, LLC - DCNR 587 (02-003) Well Site: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater for the facility located in Ward Twp., Tioga County.  (PA Bulletin, page 2793)

-- Greylock Production, LLC - Skib A Well Pad: DEP received a Final Report on soils contaminated aluminum, arsenic, barium, boron, bromide, chloride, iron, lead, lithium, manganese, selenium, strontium, vanadium, and zinc associated with buried drill cuttings located in Jefferson Twp., Greene County. -- Chesapeake Appalachia LLC - Hopson BRA Well Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater for a facility located in Asylum Twp., Bradford County.  (PA Bulletin, page 2795)

-- Repsol Oil & Gas USA, LLC - Haralambous G Well Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater for a facility located in Columbia Twp., Bradford County.  (PA Bulletin, page 2795)

-- LOLA Energy Petroco LLC - Polaris Well Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated by Aluminum, Barium, Boron, Chloride, Iron, Lithium, Manganese, Strontium, Zinc, Vanadium, and Selenium for the facility located in Oakland Twp., Butler County.  (PA Bulletin, page 2795)


Air Quality Permits

-- Tenaska PA Partners, LLC - Natural Gas-Fired Power Plant: DEP invites comments on an Air Quality Plan Approval making changes related to “combustion tuning” for the plant located in South Huntingdon Twp., Westmoreland County. (PA Bulletin, page 2773)

-- Eastern Gas Transmission & Storage - Compressor Station: DEP invites comments on the renewal of a Title V Air Quality permit for the facility located in Perry Twp., Jefferson County. (PA Bulletin, page 2774)

-- Susquehanna Gathering Company I, LLC - Compressor Station: DEP approved an Air Quality Plan Approval for the facility located in Oakland Twp., Susquehanna County.  (PA Bulletin, page 2797)

-- EQM Gathering OPCO LLC - Strosnider Dehydration & Mater Meter Facility Station: DEP approved an Air Quality Plan Approval for the facility located in Franklin Twp., Greene County.  (PA Bulletin, page 2797)
-- Certarus USA, Ltd - Strosnider Well Pad:  DEP approved an Air Quality Plan Approval for sources at the facility located in Waynesburg Twp., Greene County. (PA Bulletin, page 2797)

-- Pioneer Crossing Energy LLC - Landfill Gas Facility: DEP issued a Title V Air Quality Permit for the facility located in Exeter Twp., Berks County. (PA Bulletin, page 2798)

-- Equitrans, LP - Waynesburg Compressor Station: DEP issued a renewal of an Air Quality Synthetic Minor Operating Permit for the facility located in Franklin Twp., Greene County.  (PA Bulletin, page 2799)

-- Eastern Gas Transmission & Storage, Inc. - Crayne Compressor Station: DEP approved minor modifications to Air Quality Plan Approval for sources at the facility located in Franklin Twp., Greene County. (PA Bulletin, page 2798)


Chapter 105 Encroachment Permits

-- Rice Drilling B LLC - Baby Bear Well Pad: DEP invites comments on a Chapter 105 permit application to remediate a [coal mining] highwall adjacent to the well pad located in Somerset Twp., Washington County.  (PA Bulletin, page 2780)

-- UGI Gas Utilities - Broad Mountain To Gordon Natural Gas Pipeline: DEP issued a Chapter 105 permit for the project located in Foster and Butler Townships, Gordon Borough, Schuylkill County. (PA Bulletin, page 2782)
