PA Oil & Gas Industrial Facilities: Permit Notices/Opportunities To Comment - Feb. 18

The following DEP notices were published in the
February 18 PA Bulletin related to oil and gas industry facilities.  Many of the notices offer the opportunity for public comments.

-- Chesapeake Appalachia, LLC - State Game Lands-12 N West Water Impoundment: DEP approved Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with diesel fuel. (PA Bulletin, page 998)

Air Quality Permits

-- Lower Mount Bethel Energy SES/Bangor - Electric Generating Facility: DEP issued Title V Air Quality Permit for facility in Lower Mount Bethel Twp., Northampton County.  (PA Bulletin, page 1001)

-- Eastern Gas Transmission & Storage, Inc. - Finnefrock Compressor Station: DEP issued Title V Air Quality Permit for facility in Leidy Twp., Clinton County. (PA Bulletin, page 1002)

-- Perennial Energy CMM Pennsylvania, LLC - Coal Mine Methane Flares: DEP invites comments on an Air Quality Permit for coal mine methane flaring system in Hanover Twp., Washington County.  (PA Bulletin, page 972)

-- Equitrans, LP Waynesburg - Compressor Station: DEP invites comments on an Air Quality Permit renewal for the compressor station in Franklin Twp., Greene County.  (PA Bulletin, page 972)

-- ETC Northeast Field Services, LLC -  Freedom Pipeline Compressor Station: DEP accepted Air Quality application for installation of compressors, open flare and other equipment in New Sewickley Twp., Beaver County.   (PA Bulletin, page 1000)

-- Laurel Mountain Midstream Operating, LLC - Herminie Compressor Station: DEP accepted Air Quality application for shake-down of facility in West Newton Borough, Westmoreland County.  (PA Bulletin, page 1000)


Chapter 105 Encroachment Permits

-- Chesapeake Appalachia, LLC: DEP issued a Chapter 105 permit for after-the-fact impacts on wetlands in Osceola Twp., Tioga County.  (PA Bulletin, page 1005)

-- EQT Chap, LLC: DEP issued Chapter 105 permit for well pan and tank pad extension for facility in Sewickley Twp., Westmoreland County.  (PA Bulletin, page 1005)

-- Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Company, LLC - Regional Energy Access Expansion Project: DEP issued Chapter 102 and 105 permit applications on the proposed installation and maintenance of approximately 36 miles of 30 to 42-inch natural gas pipeline in Luzerne, Northampton, Bucks, Chester and Monroe counties.  Read more here.  (PA Bulletin, page 1009)
