DEP Posts 59 Pages Of Permit-Related Notices In July 23 PA Bulletin; Notice Of 6 Oil & Gas Facility Cleanups

DEP published notices in the July 23 PA Bulletin of a draft air quality plan approval [65-00767C] to allow the construction and initial temporary operation of a leachate evaporation system at Westmoreland Sanitary Landfill, located in Rostraver Township, Westmoreland County. -- Chesapeake Appalachia: Hattie Well Pad contaminated with drilling wastewater in Wilmot Twp., Bradford County. (PA Bulletin, page 4191)

-- Chesapeake Appalachia: Linski BRA Well Pad contaminated with drilling wastewater in Tuscarara Twp., Bradford County. (PA Bulletin, page 4191)

-- Greylock Conventional, LLC: Northern Central Bank Well Pad contaminated with drilling wastewater in Chest Twp., Clearfield County.  (PA Bulletin, page 4191)

August 17 meeting of DEP Cleanup Standards Scientific Advisory Board canceled and rescheduled for August 11.  (formal notice)

The Public Utility Commission published notice in the July 23 PA Bulletin of a Final Rulemaking Order implementing Act 120 of 2018 related to recovering costs of replacing lead drinking water lines and damaged wastewater service laterals.
