Interns/Help Wanted: PA Parks & Forests Foundation - 2 Bilingual Interns; Public Engagement Coordinator

The
PA Parks and Forests Foundation is seeking qualified candidates to fill two bilingual intern positions and a Public Engagement Coordinator position.

Intern Positions

The Foundation is assisting DCNR in the hiring of two part-time temporary interns for the Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center in Northampton County and Nolde Forest Environmental Education Center in Berks County with a fluency in English and Spanish.

The persons in this position will be responsible for communicating to the public the “Leave No Trace” principles of outdoor recreation, engaging visitors in informative programs related to conservation and the natural world, and must be willing to travel to parks and forests located in eastern Pennsylvania.

Public Engagement Coordinator

The Public Engagement Coordinator will be an integral part of a dynamic team and is responsible for utilizing the appropriate tools and strategies to advance our mission, educate decision makers, motivate the public to engage, and build a base of stakeholders interested in the conservation and stewardship of our state parks and forests.

The position involves 28-30 hours per week and is based in Camp Hill, Cumberland County.
