The Jennings Environmental Education Center in Butler County is hosting special self-guided walkabouts through January 8 showcasing not only some of the best scenery of the park, but they highlight insights into rest, resilience, hope, and more, as visitors view and contemplate the flora, fauna, water, and winds of change around them.
In nature and the outdoors, we can find inspirational lessons for this time of transition into the new year. The cool, crisp air of wintertime can refresh both body, mind, and spirit!
A free 12-stop guide and map to the stops will be available at park brochure racks, in the park office, or electronically by request.
For questions, or to request an electronic guide, contact Jennings at 724-794-6011 or email jenningssp@pa.gov.
Visit the Jennings Environmental Education Center for more information on programs, features of the Center and other upcoming events.
