DEP, Agriculture Host Jan. 15 Feeding Pennsylvanians, Reducing Food Waste Webinar; Virtual PA Farm Show Going On Now Thru Jan. 16


The departments of Agriculture and Environmental Protection will host a January 15 Feeding Pennsylvanians, Reducing Food Waste Panel Discussion from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. as part of the virtual 2021 PA Farm Show

The panel will discuss food security in Pennsylvania and how state programs, partners, and residents are taking steps to reduce food waste to protect the environment and the charitable food system.

The event will be led by the Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Patrick McDonnell and Department of Agriculture Secretary Russell C. Redding. Representatives from The GIANT Company, Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, and others will be present. A portion of the discussion will be open for questions from the audience.
