DEP Invites Data On Water Quality For Watersheds In Adams/Franklin, Susquehanna Counties

The Department of Environmental Protection invites the public to submit information on water quality in Toms Creek in Adams and Franklin counties and Jones Creek in Susquehanna County.
(formal notice)

The request is being made in connection with an evaluation of whether the streams have the proper protected use designations as a result of requests made to DEP and the Environmental Quality Board.

On July 21, 2020, the EQB accepted a rulemaking petition from the Friends of Toms Creek for evaluation.

The Jones Creek Evaluation is being conducted in response to a request from the Glacial Lakes Conservation Association.

Data should be submitted to Mark Brickner, Water Quality Division, Bureau of Clean Water, P.O. Box 8774, Harrisburg, PA 17105-8774 or mbrickner@pa.gov  by November 23.

Questions concerning these evaluations can be directed to Mark Brickner at mbrickner@pa.gov  or 717-787-9637.
