Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional Training Being Offered In July And August

The
Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional (CBLP) certification program announces a newly-revised Level 1 training for summer 2020. This highly interactive three-day course will combine online learning with a field day.
In addition to the safety benefits of remote learning, this course will:

-- Incorporate the expertise of all eight certified CBLP instructors from across the region.

-- Reduce time and expenses for those who ordinarily would travel to attend Level 1.

-- Incorporate pre-recorded lectures and videos so online class time focus is discussion and interaction.

Participants will choose one online session, which will run from 9:00 a.m. - Noon each day: Session 1: July 28 and Aug 4 or Session 2: August 19 & 26

Online sessions will be followed by full-day field practicums. Participants choose one field day (9:30 a.m.  - 3:00 p.m.) in one of the following locations:

-- Norfolk, VA - September 10 (Sept. 24 rain date)

-- Derwood/Rockville, MD - September 15

-- Lower Allen Township, Cumberland County - September 30

-- Charlottesville, VA - October 5

Level 1 registration is online. Register by July 22 and use the coupon 6FEETAPART for a $75 discount.

For those working in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, RISE grant funding will provide an additional discount. Email katie@cblpro.org and ask about RISE scholarships.

CBLP will follow CDC safety and hygiene protocols for outdoor field days, and will abide by all local and state guidelines for gatherings, which means we cannot rule out virus-related cancellations.

CBLP have instituted a flexible change policy in case you or we need to postpone. Masks or other face coverings will be required.
