Laurel Highlands Trail Summit Sept. 20 In Somerset County, Register Now

The Laurel Highlands Trails Summit, a workshop to empower trail stakeholders to build community investment and economic development, market trails, and build volunteer capacity, will take place on September 20 at the Morguen Toole Company, 130 Center Street in Meyersdale, Somerset County.
The one-day workshop will be held to support trail development and management through workshops in marketing, fundraising, volunteer recruitment, trail maintenance, and sustainable trails.
Mobile workshops by foot or bike will allow attendees to explore Meyersdale, a well-established Trail Town, as well as the Great Allegheny Passage.
Featured speakers will include Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Secretary Cindy Adams Dunn, and President/CEO of the September 11th Memorial Trail Alliance, David Brickley.
Trail managers, municipal and state trail managers, park managers, volunteers, tourism and economic development professionals.
The Laurel Highlands Conservation Landscape Initiative in Pennsylvania includes Westmoreland, Fayette, Somerset, and Cambria counties.
