Manada Conservancy: Bird The Kittatinny Ridge June 2 In Dauphin County

The Manada Conservancy in Dauphin County is hosting a Bird The Kittatinny Ridge on June 2 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. from Hocker Park on Berry Lane in Harrisburg to the Boyd Big Tree Preserve.
Biologist and Manada Preservation Volunteer Dave McNaughton will lead a leisurely 2 mile round-trip hike from Blue Mountain Parkway to the Tree Preserve.
Experience a narrow forested trail at the crest to look for Cerulean Warblers that breed annually onsite as well as other forest-dwelling and ridge top species of warblers and songbirds.
A brushy section at the turnaround may also offer Prairie Warblers, Field Sparrows, and other early successional specialists.
This event is free and open to the public. Space is limited and registration is required.
To register or for more information, please contact Manada Conservancy by sending email to: office@manada.org or call 717-566-4122.
