DEP Holds Hearing On Proposed Clearfield County Injection Well Feb. 16

The Department of Environmental Protection will hold a public hearing on a proposed Windfall Oil and Gas injection disposal well in Brady Township, Clearfield County on February 16 starting at 6:00.
DEP will accept comments at the hearing or within 5 days after the hearing which can be submitted by email to: tdonahue@pa.gov or by fax to 412-442-4328.
Each written statement must include a name, address, telephone for the person submitting it, identification of the permit application (Frank & Susan Zelman No. 1) and a concise statement of the objections to the permit application and the relevant facts upon which they are based.
There will also be an opportunity to sign up to testify before the hearing or at the door before the start of the hearing. Organizations are encouraged to designate one witness to present testimony on behalf of the organization.
The hearing will be held in Hiller Auditorium, Penn State DuBois, College Place, DuBois.
