TreeVitalize Pittsburgh Planting Program Seeking Applications

Applications are now being accepted by the TreeVitalize Pittsburgh Planting Program to receive trees for the 2011 planting season. Applications are due March 25.
The Program supports street tree, park, and riverfront plantings by supplying trees and limited services to help prepare planting locations within the City of Pittsburgh, in City and Allegheny County parks, and along riverfront trails.
Submitting an application does not guarantee your group will receive trees. Funding for seasonal plantings is limited.
For more information, visit the TreeVitalize Pittsburgh webpage or contact call the Western PA Conservancy at 412-586-2396 or send email to: trees@paconserve.org to discuss your community’s goals and preparedness.
