The following notices were published in the January 3 PA Bulletin related to oil and gas industry facilities. Many of the notices offer the opportunity for public comments.

-- DEP published notice in the January 3 PA Bulletin announcing the availability of the Final Environmental Justice Permit Review and Public Participation Policy [DEP ID: 015-0501-002] and updates to the PennEnviroScreen EJ Tool and methodology document [DEP ID: 015-0501-003]. Read more here.

-- DEP published notice in the January 3 PA Bulletin announcing it will hold a February 3 virtual hearing on the Chapter 105 permit for the proposed PA General Energy 3.9 mile Saluda shale gas well pad development access road and staging area in the Loyalsock State Forest, Gamble and Cascade Townships, Lycoming County. In a separate notice, DEP is accepting comments for 30 days on the renewal of an NPDES Wastewater Permit for the Tenaska Power Plant impacting the Youghiogheny River. (PA Bulletin, page 46)

Land Recycling/Brownfield Cleanups

-- Laurel Pipe Line Co LP Facility: DEP sent a deficiency letter on a Final Report on remediation of soil and groundwater contaminated with unleaded gasoline because it failed to show the cleanup met the Site-Specific Standards at a location in Bethel Twp., Delaware County. (PA Bulletin, page 71)
