Physicians For Social Responsibility PA Hosts May 8 In-Person Oil & Gas Industry Waste Worker Safety Workshop, Webinar In Scranton

The Physicians For Social Responsibility PA will hold a May 8 in-person workshop and webinar on Oil & Gas Industry Waste Worker Safety from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Workers are often on the front lines of hazardous operations, they are not always fully informed about the toxic materials they encounter. 

This lack of awareness can have serious repercussions—not only for their own health but also for their families and communities when these contaminants are unknowingly brought home.

Through expert presentations and firsthand accounts, we will explore the unseen hazards faced by workers, examine the unintended consequences of inadequate safety practices, and discuss steps toward creating safer, healthier work environments. This webinar is essential for workers, advocates, policymakers, and anyone concerned about occupational safety and public health.
