PA Environmental Professionals Hosting Jan. 14 Webinar On PA Policies & Plans For Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions

The
PA Association of Environmental Professionals is hosting a January 14 webinar on PA Policies and Plans for Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

Join the webinar to learn more about the GreenGov Council and where state government is with its sustainability and climate goals.

The GreenGov Council’s mission is to incorporate sustainable practices into Commonwealth government’s policy, planning, operations, procurement, and regulatory functions, and to strive for continuous improvement in efficiency and performance.

Under Executive Order 2019-01, GreenGov works with Commonwealth agencies that meet specific goals to reduce energy consumption, purchase electric vehicles, procure renewable energy, and construct new buildings and major renovations to green standards.

Mark Hand, director the Council, and Matt Reis, Deputy Director, will share details of some ongoing projects they have been working on to drive deeper environmentally sustainable outcomes in Commonwealth operations.

Webinars are free to current PAEP members but you will still need to register.  For Non-Members the fee is $20 per person.
