DEP Invites Comments On An Application For Air Quality Plan Approval For IRG Erie Plastics Recycling Facility

The Department of Environmental Protection received an application for an Air Quality Plan Approval for the proposed
IRG Erie, Inc. plastics recycling facility in the City of Erie, Erie County.  (PA Bulletin, page 3453)

DEP said in the notice: “IRG Erie, Inc. is proposing to construct a plastics recycling facility in Erie, PA to transform general plastic recyclables into speciated material.”

Comments are due July 15 - 30 days after this formal notice.  A public hearing is not scheduled, but may be requested.
