Join Pennsylvania Interfaith Power & Light and the Jewish Earth Alliance on February 21 at 7:00 p.m. for a discussion about why and how Pennsylvania lags far behind most states in renewable energy production.
This overview will include the plan for 30 percent renewable energy by 2030 (a plan Gov. Shapiro said he supports), what’s happening with the RGGI carbon pollution reduction program covering power plants and the state’s Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard (AEPS), net metering, and community solar.
The speaker will be Monica Carey, Pennsylvania Program Director, Solar United Neighbors.
