We've all seen our weather changing, from storms, heatwaves, and floods getting worse and happening more often. Our communities need to be prepared!
During the webinar, participants will hear from sustainability managers and coordinators across the state share how their position saves their cities and residents money while helping the environment, how cities can utilize grants from the federal Inflation Reduction Act, and how all of us can be a champion for climate action and environmental justice.
Full-time Sustainability staff from the city of Reading, Lower Merion Township, and the city of Erie will be joining the webinar to provide an overview of the environmental work they have accomplished – as well as answer any questions you might have!
Federal funding is becoming available through the Inflation Reduction Act for climate action and clean energy investments every month.
It’s important that our local municipalities have the knowledge and capacity to take advantage. These funds can especially be helpful for underserved communities in need of funding to help make local changes for the community!
