DEP Now Accepting Applications For Driving PA Forward Rebates To Replace Diesel Trucks, School Buses, Transit Buses

The Department of Environmental Protection is now accepting applications for Driving PA Forward Onroad Rebate Funding to replace diesel trucks, school buses and transit buses.  The deadline for applications is February 2.  (formal notice)

$6 million in funding is available for eligible school districts, municipal authorities, political subdivisions, other state agencies, nonprofit entities, corporations, limited liability companies or partnerships incorporated or registered in this Commonwealth, air quality or transportation organizations, and metropolitan or rural planning organizations.

The Department will close the application period following the issue of $5 million in vouchers and after the waitlist is populated with another $1 million in applications.
