DEP Invites Counties To Apply For Mosquitoborne Disease Control Grants

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the October 28 PA Bulletin announcing it is accepting applications for the Mosquitoborne Disease Control County Grants from counites that were awarded grants in 2023.  Applications will be accepted from October 30 to November 27.

Applicants must meet certain eligibility requirements (for example, the applicant must be a county authority—health department, conservation district, emergency management, county planning or another county agency). 

The grantees will perform mosquito Integrated Pest Management activities within the borders of a designated county or counties, as noted in the MDC Grant Application Instruction Guide.

Applications must be submitted through the Department of Community and Economic Development's Electronic Single Application website, eGrants at www.esa.dced.state.pa.us.
