PA Assn. Of Environmental Educators Now Accepting Nominations For 2024 Meaningful Watershed Education, PA Environmental Educator Awards

The PA Association of Environmental Educators is now accepting nominations for two awards programs-- Meaningful Watershed Education and the PAEE Annual Awards.  The deadline for nominations is December 15.

Watershed Education

The MWEE Partner of Excellence and the MWEE School of Excellence Award are two annual awards intended to celebrate outstanding support of and/or implementation of the Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience (MWEE) in Pennsylvania

MWEEs are learner-centered experiences that focus on student investigations into local environmental issues that lead to informed action and civic engagement.

PAEE Awards

The Association each year recognizes environmental educators and organizations advancing the quality and opportunity for environmental education in Pennsylvania.

The PAEE will hold its 2024 Annual Conference March 17-19 at the Pocono Environmental Education Center.  The theme is - Reflecting Inward, Teaching Outward.
