Mountain Watershed Assn. Hosts 3 Public Meetings To Gather Input On Youghiogheny River Conservation Plan Part I - Dunbar Creek To Headwaters Aug. 16, 17, 18

The
Mountain Watershed Association will host three public meetings on a new draft Part I of a Conservation Plan for the Youghiogheny River Watershed that provides a holistic approach to preservation and protection. 

Part I of the Plan covers Dunbar Creek to the Headwaters.

The document provides an overview all the existing studies for the region and will include a list of recommendations that, when implemented, will improve conditions within the watershed.

The public is invited to learn about the comprehensive plan, and give feedback from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on-

-- August 16: The Garrett College Performing Arts Center in McHenry MD

-- August 17: Tissue Farm in Confluence PA

-- August 18: Ohiopyle State Park Falls Area Visitor Center (downstairs) in Ohiopyle PA
