Centre County Recycling & Refuse Authority Free Tire Collection Event Sept. 16

Tires have been a problem in Centre County for a long time.  They are dumped over banks and in our woods, streams and valleys.

To combat this problem, the Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority is offering a one day tire collection event on Saturday, September 16 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m..

Centre County residents may bring their old tires to this event free of charge to be recycled.

To help with event planning and traffic flow, residents must register online and pick a time to drop their tires off.  Click Here to register -- it’s quick and easy.

A few items of note.  This free event is for Centre County residents only.  Residents can bring up to 12 tires per reservation.  We are accepting light truck and car tires only.

We are happy to provide this service to our Centre County residents.

Visit the Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority website for more information.
