According to DEP, the annual facility-wide potential emissions are 1,423 tons of carbon monoxide, 775 tons of nitrogen oxides, 97 tons of volatile organic compounds, 97 tons of particulate matter, and 83 tons of PM10.
It also emits 5.2 tons of hydrogen chloride, 3.7 tons of benzene, and 2.5 tons of coke oven emissions.
The annual sum of all Hazardous Air Pollutant emissions is 15.2 tons. Annual emission of green-house gases is 177,072 tons per year.
The application, DEP’s Review Memorandum, and the proposed permit are available for public review during normal business hours at DEP’s Southwest Regional Office, 400 Waterfront Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

Public comments are due May 8. Comments should be sent to Tom Joseph, Facilities Permit Chief, Department of Environmental Protection, Southwest Regional Office, 400 Waterfront Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
A public hearing has not been scheduled as of this date on this application.
