DEP Invites Submission Of Water Quality Data For Stream Redesignation Evaluations In Columbia, Franklin, Fulton, Greene Counties

The Department of Environmental Protection published
notice in the October 29 PA Bulletin inviting comments on stream redesignation evaluations for four streams in Columbia, Franklin, Fulton, Greene Counties.

The streams include--

-- Columbia County: Lick Run tributary to Roaring Creek

-- Franklin County: West Branch Conococheague Creek

-- Fulton County: Big Cove Creek

-- Greene County: North Fork Dunkard Fork Creek

The Department is seeking information concerning the water quality of these waters to supplement any evaluations that have been or are being performed for potential redesignation as High Quality or Exceptional Value Waters.

Interested persons may submit data using the Department's online eComment tool. Data may also be submitted to ecomment@pa.gov  or Mark Brickner, Water Quality Division, Bureau of Clean Water, P.O. Box 8774, Harrisburg, PA 17105-8774.
