The webinar will provide an overview of the Local Climate Action Program, a partnership initiative of the Department of Environmental Protection, Penn State’s Sustainability Institute, and Penn State’s Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering.
Learn how municipalities can take advantage of this program, which is designed to train and assist local officials and community stakeholders on how to inventory and reduce greenhouse gas emissions through an engaged planning process facilitated by Penn State and other university faculty, staff, and students.
Hear first-hand experiences from two local government entities that recently adopted their own plans: Centre Region Council of Governments (2021) and the City of Meadville (2022).
