The 2022 event will be held at the Best Western Plus Country Cupboard Inn in Lewisburg, Union County and attract people from across the state.
Whether new to the pursuit or a seasoned adventurer, the Hiking Weekend offers something for everyone-- from a nationally-acclaimed keynote speaker on Saturday evening-- Heather Anderson, trail name Anish-- to multi-mile expeditions on nearby trails.
Participants can come for a day, evening, or the entire event. Registration ends October 1st so sign-up today.
The importance of hiking cannot be overstated. Hiking fights obesity, promotes cardiovascular health, lowers stress, and mitigates anxiety and depression.
Trails instill an interest in nature and cultivate new conservationists. They foster connectivity and economic vitality. Trails bring people together.
“We’re thrilled to bring the Fall Hiking Weekend to Lewisburg and acquaint more people to the hiking opportunities in this part of the state,” says Brook Lenker, Executive Director of Keystone Trails Association. “It’s a lovely area and a great venue for an Autumn event.”
