Penn State Extension is hosting another in its series of Water Cooler Talks July 27 on Pesticides and Water Pollution from Noon to 1:00 p.m.
Pesticide use has increased in recent years and are commonly used in agriculture as well as public households. Pesticides are also frequently detected in freshwater habitats.
The webinar will review the impact pesticides in streams, lakes, and ponds have on these ecosystems.
Speakers include Tyler Groh, Assistant Research Professor, and Jon Sweetman, Assistant Research Professor.
