PA Professional Geologists April 26 Webinar Comparing Factors Affecting Groundwater Drinking Water Quality In Areas Where Shale Gas Has Been Developed In NC PA And Has Not Been Developed In The Delaware Watershed

The
PA Council of Professional Geologists will host an April 26 webinar on Factors Affecting Groundwater Quality Used For Domestic Water Supply In The Marcellus Shale Region Of Northcentral and Northeast PA from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Dr. Charles Cravotta, a Research Hydrologist/Geochemist with the U.S.G.S. Pennsylvania Water Science Center, will use a combination of spatial, statistical, and geochemical modeling the chemistry of sampled water where the Marcellus has seen production will be compared to groundwater quality in the Delaware River watershed where Marcellus gas has not been developed.
