The Penn State Extension will host another of its Water Cooler Talks March 30 on Current and Future Climate Dairy Cropping from Noon to 1:00 p.m.
Field studies of dairy cropping systems have identified double cropping and manure injection as practices that can enhance dairy crop production, while reducing nutrient losses to water and the environment.
How will these practices perform under the increased temperature and precipitation projected for the Northeast with climate change?
