Brian LaShier from Union of Concerned Scientists, the Senior Washington Representative for the UCS Climate & Energy Program, will be the content speaker.
Pennsylvania is getting federal dollars from the federal American Rescue Plan and Bipartisan Infrastructure Laws.
Some of it, like electric vehicle charging stations or cleaning up abandoned mine lands and oil and gas wells, are obviously good for the environment.
But there are other funds that could be used for environmental sustainability efforts or programs depending on how the rules or proposals get developed.
This session is intended for concerned citizens who are willing to speak to their local and state officials, and decision and policy makers of all kinds who apply for government grants.
