Individuals in these positions will have a chance to go on the road with Habitat Management staff to complete fish habitat improvement projects all over the Commonwealth and get some great hands-on experience with implementing conservation projects.
Applicants must have a degree or be pursuing a degree in fisheries or a related field. Preference is given to applicants who also have experience with boating/trailering, power tools, chainsaws, fishing, and being a positive team member.
Previous aides have used their experience at PFBC to help enter graduate school and acquire positions in the fisheries biology field.
