On December 9, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency awarded two grants in Pennsylvania to reduce diesel emissions. The grants included--
-- $1.3 Million to the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority to convert a ship to shore gantry crane from diesel to electric [Read more here]; and
-- $1.4 Million to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Air Management Association to replace 40 drayage trucks at the Port of Philadelphia [Read more here].
