Penn State Extension Water Cooler Talk: Riparian Buffer Ecosystem Services Webinar Oct. 27

Penn State Extension will hold another in its series of virtual Water Cooler Talks on October 27 on Riparian Buffer Ecosystem Services from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

The webinar will cover important concepts and techniques for discussing the value of riparian buffers for water resource protection and other ecosystem services. 

Hear about current work happening in the water resource field and be able to ask questions and share ideas with professionals across Pennsylvania.

The speakers include Tyler Groh, Penn State Assistant Research Professor, and Melissa Kreye, Penn State Assistant Professor of Forest Resource Management.

October Is Buffer Month!

Penn State Extension is joining the Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council, who declared October as Riparian Buffer Month, as an opportunity to build awareness and familiarity of forested riparian buffers while sharing the applicability of these sustainable practices in a variety of settings.  Read more here.
